Xavier Gonzalez (FR. • Guard • Nazareth HS / Brooklyn, NY) of CCNY CUNY's player of the week, averaging 15.5 points per game, shot .444 from the field (4-for-7 3FG), and 4.5 rebounds per contest in the Beavers' two games during the week of Nov. 26.
Gonzalez averaged 15.5 points per game, shot .444 from the field (4-for-7 3FG), and averaged 4.5 rebounds per contest in the Beavers' two games during the week of Nov. 26. He tallied 13 points and seven rebounds to go with two steals against Rutgers-Newark, before scoring 18 points, including a 3-for-6 effort from 3-point range against St. Joseph's (Patchogue). Gonzalez is averaging 10.7 points per game, tying for second on the team.

Emmanuel Zamor's inaugural pigskin tourney came with a bang as over 20 City College students and staff played for the title of Madden Tournament champion. With the creation of the City's Football Club (or the C.F.C) and the tournament, Zamor hopes to bring together the City College community and to hopefully bring a Division lll team to the school.
